The CSA Public Sector Agreement 2019 (GA8) was registered on 4 November 2019 with the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC). The agreement will enter into force on November 4, 2019 and expire on June 12, 2021. Update payroll plans (schedules 2, 3 and 4) to allow for a $1,000 increase in annual salaries. For workers on maternity or adoption leave, this period increases from 14 weeks to 16 weeks. Partners may also have access to an increase in paid leave from 1 week to 3 weeks after the birth of a new child. These changes will come into effect from the first full reference period from December 1, 2019. General Agreement of Educational Assistants (Government) 2019 The salary increase benefit was reduced to the first full salary period after December 1, 2019, resulting in a salary once dated with the increased rate of pay: agreements are negotiated more regularly (usually every 2 or 3 years) between unions and employers and registered by the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC). After registration, the provisions of the agreement apply to all workers in the workplace who are employed under the industrial agreement. the inclusion of a new clause entitled Employer Notice for Workers Over 45, which extends the required notice period by one week, for workers over 45 who have completed at least two consecutive years of margin.
